WoW - Not As Easy As It Seems

I just have to say this; the Dwarf and Gnome quests are bloody boring. Sepes has been baleeted, will probably replace with a NE priest instead.

On the other characters, Kindrah has now overtaken Zist at 23, while Rezeera is running a close third at 16. Tried to take K through the Deadmines earlier; joined a party with a hunter I'd previously done DM with, who then got a L27 Rogue and tried to take us to either the Stockades or Blackfathom Deeps, neither of which I was at a suitable level for. (Neither was he, to tell the truth.) I said I had to go and logged out.

Some people are just clueless.

WoW - Here We Go Again

It's an old tactic, but I think it can work this time.

What am I talking about? Let me explain.

My mother and I share an account on World of Warcraft. Ages ago, I had five characters on the Bronze Dragonflight server; and all these characters' professions would link in to each other, providing a supply chain. I thought it would work.

Needless to say, it didn't. Three of the characters never got off the ground, never breaking level 10; the other two fared better, but the process was scrapped.

Now I've 'moved' from the Bronze Dragonflight PVE server to the Argent Dawn RP server, I have all 10 slots available, and I've got a different method for setting it up.

My original set up had the different characters with some resources being split ways, such as one character having herbalism and another having alchemy, meaning that for one to make things, another character had to be used first.

My new set up:
Zist: Human Warlock - Mining + Enchanting (Current Level: 21 or so)
Notes: The money received from selling the smelted bars goes towards the enchanting fund. Enchanting can improve other characters' armour and weapons.

Kindrah: Night Elf Hunter - Tailoring + Jewelcrafting (Current Level: 12)
Notes: She does depend on others, though for something very minor; the jewels that the miners pick up go to her for the jewelcrafting. Jewelcrafting makes trinkets for other characters, tailoring supplies other characters with cloth armour.

Rezeera: Draenai Paladin - Mining + Blacksmithing (Current Level: 9)
Notes: Self explanatory, really. Supplies herself and Zist with mail and later plate armour.

Sepes: Dwarf Priest - Herbalism + Alchemy (Current Status: Level 6 Orc Warrior)
Notes: Also self explanatory; providing potions to other characters.

POSSIBLE EXTRA CHARACTER
???: Gnome Mage - Skinning + Leatherworking (Current Status: Non-existent)

That means out of all of the professions, the only I do not cover (if I do go for the extra character) is Engineering, for which I can rely on people over the trade channel in major cities.

And then I would be working them all up in stages; first stage, all to 20, meaning Zist will be out of action for a while; I'll go with a character, then I'll change either when they reach the target or when I get bored with them.

Return to Normality (or a close approximation thereof)

Ok, sorted out the card issue, gave mum the envelopes and she got some card for me, as well as getting herself an A2 portfolio from Argos (which, to my delight, contained some canvases which she gave to me, and also a rubbish brush I can use to glue up the elite). A very profitable excursion.

I'm a berk

As the title says. I'm a complete and utter berk.

Why, you may ask?

Went down the town, got the obligatory Pokemon cards, and two packs of card, 20 sheets per pack. Get home, fiddle around with the elite bits until I can fit them on 48 pages (I had 8 left over from the Banshee) then open up the first packet of card, wondering why the end of the back sheet seems to be folded over.

And then I look at the label on the packet.

"10 WHITE ENVELOPES C4 - TAKES A4 PAPER"

Argh argh argh.

Luckily, mum's going to take the envelopes off me and buy me some card tomorrow when we go into the city.

Who ate all the π?

Happy π day, everyone.

...and bang goes the grunt...

Having discovered that the parts for the 1m Grunt would take over 55 pages (the Elite took only 60) I've scrapped that. I may end up redoing the Elite, due to the large amount of dents and gaps in the parts sitting in the corner. I've still got a pistol to do somewhere.
